Which tool do you need?

You are planning a complete system
Use the PV Wizard for buildings. Step by step you go through location, roof measurement, module selection, inverter match, shading analysis, statics check, grant check and bill of materials. At the end you receive a complete material list with sources.
You have modules and inverters — want to check the MPPT
The MPPT calculator quickly checks whether your string configuration fits a Victron MPPT. You enter the module data and string length — the calculator tells you which MPPTs are eligible and which are not (with explanation: Voc too high, Isc too high, etc.). Includes yield estimate for your region.
You are planning the wiring
The cable cross-section calculator covers all four typical cable paths of a PV system: from the PV string to the solar charge controller, from the MPPT to the battery, from the battery to the inverter (Victron-specific with DC ripple consideration), and from the inverter to the AC distribution. With fuse recommendation and installation-type correction.
Important note: These tools provide preliminary calculations for planning. For binding sizing and construction of a PV system, a licensed electrician is required.
